Another Round for the History Books
Just finished playing the last gig on this round of solo shows tonight at The Bitter End in NYC.
Once again, I'm really glad I decided to do these shows.
From Atlanta, to Florida, to Texas, to Chicago, Cleveland and New York, I couldn't ask for a more appreciative audience.
I never cease to be amazed and humbled at the length's some people go to catch one of my shows.
Maybe thats why I repeat ad infinitum, Thank You.
Unfortunately, Jessie was ill tonight and couldn't make the drive down from his home in Upstate NY. Even though he was sorely missed, Phyllis and myself did our best to fill in the gaps.
I had the pleasure of working with CC Coletti tonight. When I booked the Bitter End I thought it would be great to have CC and her band open up for me. They were great. "Greasy" is the proper term.
My schedule gets a little hectic for a minute starting next week. I'm off to Japan on Wednesday for ten days, then another 2 weeks of shows in the US with TR. A short break during May and then, ML duties until mid August.
At which point ........ well, I wish I knew.

We're very glad you decided to do the shows too. Hearing you do your own songs is always a special treat.
Thank you Kas. Can't wait to see you again. Hopefully, soon.

Dear Kasim,
Thanks for the show last night and for your generous offer of a copy of All Sides.
We had to catch our train to Huntington, LI, and could not wait for you to exit the backstage area.
We look forward to your next pressing of the cd and for your future solo shows.
Thanks again for your consideration.
Peace,
Tom and Eileen (from Queens)
I will just take a moment here to thank you again for a wonderful show in Ft. Lauderdale, it was sooo intimate. I hope you keep coming back ;). Have a great time in Japan and I will see in a few weeks you when you, Todd and the crew are back in Florida. Until then blessings and light, Julie
I see you're coming back to the Handlebar in Greenville, this time with Todd!
I helped Keith get you there for your solo show last time, and this time I'm going to be out of town! I can't believe it! Man, I never got to see Utopia live, and you and Todd together would've been great. But the wife and I had hotel reservations paid for out of town and I'm going to miss it!
Man, I'm down!
Joe
PS- Hope you have fun again in SC, wish I could be there again.

Kas,
I am proud to say I have known you in my long past. Your work and talent is supurb. I wish there was a way I could express my real thoughts privately to you as a very, very old friend (think grade school). You have crossed my life path again through a very special person who had recently passed, "The Shell". The best to you for more great music and hoping to actually meet you in person once again.
