Work Work Work

As you can see, I can't get away from the job. I was supposed to have two weeks off after the last Meat Loaf show on April 18 (a private show in NYC) and take a well deserved 2 week break, canceled shows not withstanding. As is usually the case, I got called out to LA to do more work on the Live DVD at the last minute and my two week break turned into a 5 day break.
I wound up working in LA from April 24th to May 2nd. Left LA on the 2nd, arrived in NY that evening and the next day left for the UK.
Now, it may seem like I'm complaining but trust me, I'm not. I love what I do and the fact that I'm so busy makes me appreciate it even more. Someone once told me never to complain about being busy.
LA was cool and I ran into Kyle McLaughlin and the guy from The Amazing Race who says, "Jim and Alice ... You are the last couple to arrive. I'm sorry but you're eliminated."
Alanis Morrisette was in the studio along with me but try as I might, I couldn't get her to stay out of my way. What a pest. She kept trying to get a glimpse of Meat (no pun intended) but he managed to avoid her.
So, it's time for the big rock tour over here and more Backstage Pass episodes. I know you're all on the edge of your seats waiting for Season Two to start.
Another heartfelt thank you to everyone who has ordered All Sides. I'm truly blessed to have such a wonderful group of fans.

Thanks for the post Kasim, I finally went to my first concert in DC and you guys are beyond amazing! Also, I was in LA at the same time and the drivers there are scary, I couldn't drive one block without getting cutt-off, so I figured if ya cant beat'em....you know the rest.
So by the time I got back to the good old central coast I knew I had to relax with the driving!
Keep on rocking,
~Jasmin~
I can't wait to get your new cd Kasim.
I can't wait for the second leg of the
U.S.tour with Meat Loaf.
I guess I just can't wait.
Have a successful time in Europe.

Hey Kasim,
Thanks for the update. Can't wait for more videos.
You do know that you don't have to wait for tour time to post videos of your adventures. You have already shown that you can make anything entertaining.
All Sides is getting a good work out. Can you wear out an MP3 player???
Have fun in the UK. I can't wait for August in Cleveland.
Any chance of you doing a solo show while you're there?
Mary
Glad to hear your over in the UK, I am looking forward the Wembley show on the 23rd :) Two days after I finish my Uni finals too!
blog more, visit nyc even more.
m2 (from old silive days -- where did that PLAY fellow ever go to)?
that's one HUUUUGE soundboard!
Alanis CAN be precocious. I bumped into her JUST ONE TIME, and she included me in that damned "Thank You" song of hers. Try to guess which dude is The Pug.
Fortunately I avoided our next encounter while we were both at the same studio (I sing the "Dot Com!" overdub at the end of the "Travelocity" commercials). I purposely let my fudgesickle melt all over the mixing console, and got myself kicked out the back entrance while she was coming in the front.
Whew! That was close, my friend.
