Shoe Buisiness

It's gettin' to be about that time folks...
Nutty time that is.
Someone suggested I run a little non-prize contest to see if the readers can guess who's feet I've taken pictures of.
I've included some hints in the captions underneath each photo which may help in determining whos dogs were let out.
I'll figure out some kind of small gesture of appreciation to the person who can put the most correct names to each set of feet.
Something like a signed Tour Book or T-Shirt.
So disregard the 'non-prize' comment above and take your best sock .... oop's I meant SHOT!

Mohegan Sun Casino

Jen suggested I ask the band and crew to make the silliest face they could for me to post here.
Well, some complied, some didn't. I just took the pictures anyway and figured I'd let you decide who was the silliest. I have my favorites.
We played a rather large entertainment center tonight here in Mohegan Sun casino and the crowd was great.
There were these two young girls in front of me the whole night, they couldn't have been more than 12 years old and they were totaly into it from the moment we went on stage. I love seeing such young fans. At one point, I threw a pick twords them and I think their younger brother wound up with it. I know this because I saw them arguing over it with the Dad. That spurred a barage of pick throwing from me to them to make sure they wouldn't be fighting over the one their brother caught. Cute.
Between them and the Carmen Electra look alike in the front row, I had an interesting show to say the least.
Thankfully we're done with casinos for the time being. If I had to listen to one more bell ringing incessantly I was gonna scream.
Onto Boston and a few open air shows.

Atlantic City

Casinos .... lovely.
Isn't life enough of a gamble without having to watch people toss money away like it grows on trees?
Thankfully, I'm not so inclined. The way I figure it, these places will do just fine without my cash. Although having said that I did bet a little and ... summarily lost it.
Good show tonight. Meat has been in a great mood and his voice is stronger than ever. More friends and family tonight for the band. Here we are five shows into this leg of the tour and we've been rolling right along.
Trying to take interesting pictures is a battle between picking up the camera or doing my job! If anyone has any suggestions I'll take them under advisement and do my best to oblige.

Back In Business

Hey hey hey,

OK, so ... after a well deserved break we're back at it in the US of A.
So far we've done four shows. Three at the Beacon Theater in NYC and the fourth just outside of Toronto at Casino Rama.
I'm not crazy about playing in my hometown. People come out of the woodwork claiming to have gone to grammar school with me or pretend to be a long lost cousin.
I don't mind getting the odd ticket here and there but theres only so many I can accomodate before I start raising eyebrows in the production office.
Right now I'm in Atlantic City for the show tomorrow. This one sold out so quickly that they've added another twords the end of the tour in September.
I managed to squeeze in a few Movin' Out performances while I was on my break. It was great to be welcomed back into that show. I'll miss doing it once the play closes later this year.
I promise to take lots more pictures and post as regularly as I did while we were in Europe.

Till then,

Kasim
